Art and Social Change
Artists have often played a key role in social movements while addressing issues ranging from climate change, immigration, sexism, racism, speciesism and much more. Our mission is to bring you much more than a simple piece of clothing. We fully believe in art as a powerful instrument for social change.
In a 2013 essay entitled: “Change the Culture, Change the World,” artist Favianna Rodriguez puts it this way: “You may attend a rally or vote, but you also read books, listen to music, engage with visual art, turn on the radio and create your identity through culture. Artists are central, not peripheral, to social change. To have the movements that make the wave, you need cultural workers.”
Feminism for animal liberation
We understand veganism and feminism go hand in hand. Why? Very simple. We see no difference between oppression of animals and human females.
We strive for equality for all beings.
Through art, a sustainable and ethical production, our mission is to empower women and animals and to contribute to both movements in fight for equality.
